Cafes and restaurants in the City of South Perth are pulling out all the stops this winter to give you more reason to dine out close to home. Indulge in heartwarming flavours, warm ambiance, and exceptional service while supporting our local business community.

In July and August, we are highlighting winter dining options and specials offered by businesses across our City.

Ten Minas

Ten Minas in Como have released two delicious new menu items to keep you cozy this winter. For lunch, try their Ebi-Chan Pasta: linguini, Queensland tiger prawns, squid, cherry tomatoes, prawn bisque, garlic panko, parmesan cheese and chilli. And to drink they have a new visually pleasing purple Taro Latte which is perfect served hot or iced.

Pagoda

A special Winter Warmers menu is on offer at Pagoda's Waterwall Restaurant & Bar until the end of August. Choose from their braised lamb shank, beef cheeks or winter warmer curry with a glass of mulled wine for $40. If your dining for dinner you will receive a complimentary glass of mulled wine with any main course ordered.

Pagoda is located at 112 Melville Parade in Como.

Akira's

If you haven't visited Akira’s Restaurant yet, now is the time to try. Their menu offers a rich tapestry of global cuisine, from aromatic Indian curries to rich Italian pastas, ideal for the winter months. Try their eggplant moussaka: lightly grilled eggplant layered with wild mushrooms, béchamel , tomato sugo baked & served directly from the oven with cheese & Greek salad.

You will find Akira's a little hidden away in the Meadowvale Shopping Centre on Millpoint Road in South Perth.

The Windsor Hotel

As a British-inspired pub, the Windsor Hotel take pride in offering an array of winter delights for all to enjoy - complete with inviting fireplaces. Make the most of their warming authentic Sri Lankan curry special for $18 on Tuesday nights or end your week with their crowd favourite Sunday Roast.

Miss Chow's

Asian inspired eatery and dumpling house Miss Chow's are serving a signature winter dish not to be missed. Book a table and soak up the Swan River views while enjoying their Crayfish Noodles for a limited time. Made with all WA produce, the dish is Rottnest Rock Lobster served with egg noodles, Shaoxing wine, fresh ginger and scallion broth. Beautiful.

The Sarapan

The Sarapan is a pop up breakfast & brunch cafe that combines traditional Malaysian and western breakfast. Perfect to warm up on a cool morning, try their Nasi Lemak with fragrant coconut rice or go the traditional option of the Big Brekky with chicken sausages.

Juniper & Bay

Fine dining Como restaurant, Juniper & Bay have a special Truffle and Wine Degustation Dinner coming up on 19 and 20 July. Meet Franklin Tate from Miles from Nowhere Wines and enjoy six courses perfectly paired with some of his best drops.

Our Ruby Girl

Winter warmers at Our Ruby Girl include their popular Biscoff Latte, Yorkshire Benny, and French Toast with rhubarb and lemon myrtle. Our Ruby Girl is an urban cafe and small batch providore showcasing locally grown produce, exceptional coffee and sustainable gifts and homewares.

Mount Henry Tavern

Mount Henry Tavern have specials running every day of the week featuring a range of excellent value options perfect for lunch or dinner during winter. You can't go past their Sunday night roast for just $22.90 with free meals for kids.

The Karalee on Preston

Local mainstay The Karalee have the perfect winter special on offer to keep you warm. Try their slow-cooked beef cheeks, served with royal blue mashed potato, snow peas, green peas, and red wine jus for $38.
