Community Safety and Crime Prevention Plan endorsed by Council
The City’s Community Safety and Crime Prevention (CSCP) Plan 2022-2027 was endorsed by Council on Tuesday 23 May 2023, following the public feedback period in March 2023.
The endorsed CSCP Plan 2022-2027, which replaces the 2019-2021 Plan, is a strategic document underpinned by a community development approach that seeks to build social cohesion and community connections to enhance the community’s sense of safety.
Feedback received from over 400 completed surveys helped to shape the priorities and actions in the CSCP Plan 2022-2027, including brand new actions in three of the priority areas.
These new actions reflect the feedback received from the community and align with the objectives of the City's key partners such as the Western Australian Police.
