Join our Live Art Studio for Evolve 2023

The City's annual Evolve - Arts, Events and Culture Winter Program returns in July/August 2023 and we're looking for artists and creatives to be part of our new Live Art Studio.

Expressions of Interest (EOIs) are now open for artists keen to take part in this activation, where the community will get to see an artwork created during a 10-day residency at one or both of the City's libraries.

The activation is designed to provide community members with an opportunity to meet working artists and provide access to a range of genres, mediums and artistic practice.

The event will be indoors, so materials will be limited to:

• Painted works – oil, acrylic, watercolour or pastel
• Works on paper – drawing, illustration, collage or mixed media
• Crafts – textiles, jewellery, design, printmaking or calligraphy

Applicants must be available to work during either or both of the exhibition periods:

• Manning Library:  Tuesday 25 July – Saturday 5 August 2023
• South Perth Library: Tuesday 1 August – Saturday 12 August 2023
