Digital focus for cash-free Civic Centre

News Update 29 May 2023

From 1 July 2023, the City of South Perth will no longer accept cash payments at the Civic Centre. This includes cash for invoices, rates, infringements, animal registrations and other payments. Instead, payments can be made quickly and securely online by visiting southperth.wa.gov.au/pay or in person at the Civic Centre using your credit or debit card.

Moving to a cash-free environment at the Civic Centre is one of the many ways the City is embracing digital transformation.

This will be achieved with a strong focus on the safety and security for our customers and employees. For more information on the City’s transition to cashless visit southperth.wa.gov.au/pay.
