Mill Point Rd - installation of raised platforms
The City will install two new raised platforms along Mill Point Rd at the intersections of Queen St and Stirling St to help improve overall safety in the area.
Installation of the red asphalt platforms, which are designed to slow traffic on the approach to each intersection, is planned for Wednesday 31 May, Thursday 1 June and Friday 2 June, weather permitting.
Detours will be in place, along with local road closures at the intersections. Residents whose property access will be impacted will be notified separate to the general information provided to the community.
This project is fully funded through Main Roads WA’s Low Cost Urban Safety Program, which aims to provide widespread safety benefits and improved amenity for the community.
For more details and the latest information about planned closures, please see our Works and Projects page or submit a request via southperth.wa.gov.au/request.
