Bin collection on Wednesday 19 April during industrial action

The City has been working with Cleanaway to minimise disruptions to waste collection services during the planned industrial action on Wednesday 19 April 2023.

Residents should present bins for collection as normal and not retrieve them until they have been emptied. 

Cleanaway has advised that household rubbish collection will be prioritised on Wednesday, with minimal disruption anticipated.

Recycling services may be affected and collections carried over to Thursday and Friday, however Cleanaway expects all services will be caught up by Friday.
