Construction works are scheduled to begin the week commencing 13 February 2023 and will take approximately 3 weeks to complete, weather permitting.

Working hours & traffic management

Construction works are scheduled between 7am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, although it may be necessary to carry out some activities outside of these hours, including Saturdays.

Temporary road closures and detours will be implemented to facilitate the works. For the safety of road users and construction personnel, please follow signage and take care when driving in the area. Vehicle movements in and out of some properties will be impacted during these resurfacing works.

The works will involve the removal and replacement of some lengths of roadside kerbing. Reticulation on an affected kerb lines may be temporarily cut, capped and relocated away from the kerb. A notice will be placed in residents’ letterboxes once reticulation has been reinstated. Please test your system within two weeks of the notice. If issues present, please notify the City as soon as possible. The City is responsible for all reinstatement works and will not accept responsibility or provide reimbursement for other repairs or reinstatements carried out by third parties.
