Next steps for the draft LPS 7

Thank you to everyone that provided feedback on the draft Local Planning Scheme No. 7 (LPS 7).

Following a three-month stakeholder and community engagement period, the City received a total of 470 submissions and 162 attendees to the five drop-in information sessions.  

The City will now review the feedback and propose modifications to the draft LPS 7, as required.

The draft Scheme will be presented to Council in early 2023 to endorse. It will then be submitted to the Western Australian Planning Commission for consideration, with a final decision to be made by the Planning Minister.
