Sewer rehabilitation works to start mid-October 2022

The Water Corporation is carrying out essential sewer rehabilitation works across Perth, including some suburbs in the City of South Perth.  

This is an ongoing program to renew ageing wastewater pipes and extend the life of this important infrastructure by at least 50 years.

Where possible, the Water Corporation’s authorised contractor Aaro Group will refurbish existing wastewater pipes using trenchless technology.

Works will generally be conducted around the access chambers on either side of wastewater pipes. 

The work is planned to begin in mid-October 2022 and be completed by late June 2023.

During this period, the Water Corporation will generally work from Monday to Saturday, between 7am and 5pm. If night work is required, the Water Corporation will notify affected residents.
