NAIDOC Week 2022 flag raising and free events

Get creative with craft workshops, design your own skate deck or hear about Amanda Healy's fascinating journey from the mining industry to high-end Aboriginal fashion design when the City celebrates NAIDOC Week 2022 (3-10 July).

This year's theme Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up! calls for systemic change and to keep rallying around our mob, our Elders, our communities.

Join us on Monday 4 July from 1.30pm to 2.30pm for a Flag Raising Ceremony to begin the City's NAIDOC Week activities.

This free event at the Civic Centre is a great opportunity for our community to come together to honour the Aboriginal community in the City of South Perth and acknowledge the culture of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Light refreshments will be provided after the ceremony and this event is supported by the Department of Communities and held in partnership Mentally Healthy WA to promote the Act Belong Commit campaign.

See our Events page for details about other free NAIDOC Week activities in the City.
