Sounds in the Park Como concert postponed

The Sounds in the Park concert that was scheduled to occur at Ryrie Reserve in Como on Saturday 26 March 2022 is being postponed until further notice.

Based on the escalation of COVID-19 cases in Western Australia and the associated state government public health and social measures now in place (including a capacity limit for outdoor public events), the City has decided that this free community event should not proceed at this time.

The City understands the decision to postpone events may impact our community and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. The safety and wellbeing of our staff, contractors and the community is our highest priority, in this fast moving environment.

No decision has been made about the proposed/new concert date, but it is likely to be rescheduled in the last quarter of the year (possibly between October and December 2022), subject to the COVID-19 situation and necessary approvals. More details about the proposed/new concert date will be uploaded to the City’s website in due course and communicated through the City’s usual marketing channels.
