Australia Day celebrations in 2022

Australia Day
The City is looking forward to celebrating Australia Day at South Perth Foreshore in 2022. While the day will look a little different due to continuing uncertainty around COVID-19, we working hard to bring you entertainment and activities the whole family will enjoy. 

The Australia Day Morning Ceremony will take place at at Sir James Mitchell Park at 8am followed by the Great Aussie Breakfast from 9.30-10.30am.

In the afternoon there will be four entertainment zones along the foreshore starting at 3pm and finishing at 7.30pm in time for the City of Perth Skyworks at 8pm. Entertainment will include art activities for children, a toddler zone, all ages sport activities and roving entertainers. Information for local residents

Road closures and changes to parking will be in place on Wednesday 26 January to ensure safe entry and exit for visitors and access for emergency services. If you live near the foreshore, you will receive a resident flyer in the mail to help you plan for traffic changes.
