Road Rehabilitation Works - Salisbury Ave, South Perth

In accordance with the 2021/22 Capital Works Program, the City of South Perth will be undertaking road rehabilitation works at the following location:

• Salisbury Avenue between Canning Highway and Broome Street, South Perth 
  Commencing week of 19 July 2021

The works will take approximately 2-3 weeks to complete, weather permitting. Works will be confined to the hours of 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

For the safety of road users and personnel, the road will be closed at certain times to through-traffic. Please follow all signage and take care when driving in the area. Parking will also be restricted at times to facilitate the works.

Resurfacing works (laying new asphalt) will take place on two separate days. Nearby and/or affected residents will receive a further letter 48 hours prior to the works. As driving on freshly laid asphalt can negatively affect the quality of the asphalt and increase the risk of bitumen sticking to car tyres, vehicle movements in and out of some properties may be impacted. Should you need to enter or exit your property while the asphalt works are in progress, we ask that you speak to our traffic controllers who will direct you through the work site.
