Kensington Police target speeding

The City works closely with Kensington Police to address safety concerns raised by our community.  

As part of a current operation targeting speeding in South Perth, the City has placed speed monitoring message boards along Mill Point Road to assist police. Passing vehicles will see their speed clearly displayed on the roadside signage, serving as a reminder to drive safely. Traffic monitoring devices recently installed by the City will also provide valuable data to police.

The month-long police operation will target vehicles disobeying road rules. The community can help by contacting WA Police if they witness unsafe driving including speeding, drag racing or burnouts. Call 131 444 if immediate assistance is required, or report the incident on the WA Police website.
