Sustainable watering options

The City is passionate about sustainability at our reserves, bushland and public open spaces.

Our Natural Areas team has repurposed 1,000 litre containers called IBCs as watering stations for community watering days.

So far two containers have been installed at Davilak Bush Reserve. They have been mounted on pallets, secured with star pickets and painted an army green colour to blend into the environment. For more information on environmental management within the City click here.
