Keeping our community safe
The State Government has introduced new health safety measures across some public indoor venues to help with contact tracing for COVID-19, in the event of an outbreak.
From this Saturday 5 December, visitors to most facilities across the City will be required to provide their details, by either scanning a QR code with their mobile phone or completing a paper register. The State Government has released a free mobile phone app called SafeWA, providing a free, easy and contactless solution.
The data will be encrypted, stored securely and only be accessible by authorised Department of Health contact tracing personnel.
The safety of our community is our highest priority, please continue to maintain social distancing and practice good personal hygiene when attending community facilities and events. Stay home if you are feeling unwell and seek medical advice if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
