Join this year's Garage Sale Trail

Media Release 17 September 2020

The Garage Sale Trail is back for another year, part of a national sustainability event to help reduce landfill by creating awareness and encouraging the community to reuse and reduce waste at home.

Households, schools, community groups and local businesses will join over 400,000 people across the country on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November as part of the tenth annual Garage Sale Trail.

This year, because of the COVID-19 pandemic things are being done a little differently. For the first time there will be virtual garage sales as well as real world garage sales, online masterclasses and tutorials.

City of South Perth Mayor Greg Milner said the Garage Sale Trail is a great opportunity for people to connect with their local community, declutter our homes and make some extra money.

“The City is thrilled to be involved with this initiative once again and encourages everyone in the community to take part,” Mayor Milner said.
