Get up close with the birds in your backyard

The City is happy to be supporting this year’s Winter Birds in Backyard survey.

We are all spending more time at home because of the Coronavirus pandemic, so why not get outside and learn about the birds in your backyard.

Birds in Backyard surveys are an important part of research into the birds that live where people live and allow anyone with a backyard, large or small, to take part.

All you have to do is register for your free Birdata account. Download the Birdata app and take your smartphone or tablet outside with you and record all the birds you see in 20 mins.
