Road Works on Henley Street & Canning Highway Intersection, Como

In accordance with the 2019/20 Capital Works Program, the City of South Perth will be undertaking road rehabilitation works at Henley Street & Canning Highway Intersection, Como and will commence 3 May 2020.

The works will take approximately 3 weeks to complete, weather permitting. Works are scheduled at night to avoid major disruption to high-volume daytime traffic on Canning Highway. Works are scheduled between 8pm and 5am Monday to Friday and, if required, between 8pm and 6am over Saturday and Sunday nights.

Equipment and vehicle movements may create noise for adjacent residents. To minimise disturbance to residents an out-of-hours Noise Management Plan has been prepared by the Head Contractor, Asphaltech, and approved by the City of South Perth.

For the safety of road users and personnel, temporary lane closures and detours will be implemented to facilitate the works. Henley Street will be closed between Robert Street and Canning Highway, and between Canning Highway and Edgecumbe Street. Please follow all signage and take care when driving in the area.
