Easter rubbish collection and opening hours

Easter kerb side rubbish collection

There will be no kerb side bin collections on Good Friday 19 April. Bins will be serviced the following day on Saturday 20 April. 

Bins will be collected as normal on Easter Monday 22 April and ANZAC Day, Thursday 25 April.

Please remember to put your bins out before 6am as usual. If you have any questions about your bin service, please contact us or Cleanaway on 6557 6900.

Easter opening hours

The City’s Civic Centre, George Burnett Leisure Centre and South Perth and Manning libraries will be closed on Good Friday 19 April through to Easter Monday 22 April, reopening on Tuesday 23 April.

Please note, the libraries will be open from 10am-4pm, Saturday 20 April as normal. Any after hours library returns can be made via the after-hours returns chute at South Perth and Manning libraries. 

The Recycling Centre and Animal Care Facility will be closed on Good Friday 19 April and Easter Monday 22 April. Both facilities will be open as normal on Saturday 20 April and Sunday 21 April. Normal hours will resume on Tuesday 23 April for both facilities.

The Old Mill be closed on Good Friday 19 April, Sunday 21 April and Easter Monday 22 April. The Old Mill will be open on Saturday 20 April from 1-4pm.

All of the City’s facilities will be closed on ANZAC Day, Thursday 25 April.

Our out of hours service ensures that callers receive the same timely and accurate information outside normal office hours. 

All calls received after hours are either actioned immediately in the case of an emergency or referred back to us the next working day for follow up. The after hours service is available on 9474 0777, seven days a week.
