Million Paws Walk to raise money for RSPCA WA

News Update 17 May 2018

The City of South Perth’s friendly rangers will be at the RSPCA Million Paws Walk this Sunday 20 May at Sir James Mitchell Park, South Perth.

Visit their stall between 8.30am and 2pm for free giveaways and advice about caring for your furry friend.

The rangers will be joined by the team from Town of Victoria Park and the City of Canning's fluffy mascot Buddy.

Over 10,000 people and their dogs are expected to walk 1, 2.5 or 5 kilometres to show their support for animals in need.

The Million Paws Walk will feature a pet parade, entertainment, stalls, food, competitions, giveaways and a whole lot more.

Whatever the age, size or breed – all dogs are welcome for a fantastic doggy day out (as long as they’re vaccinated, friendly and socialised). No four-legged friend? Don’t worry, even those without pooches are welcome to join in the fun!

Money raised through online fundraising, merchandise sales and activities on the day will help to provide essential care for the hundreds of animals that RSPCA WA cares for each year. Every dollar raised will assist RSPCA WA in reaching their goal of $350,000.

Online registrations have now closed, tickets will be available on the day,

Event parking will be available on Sir James Mitchell Park (Zone 8, located to the west of Coode St) for a gold coin donation, with money raised going to RSPCA WA. Please check signs for parking details.
