Notice of endorsement of Town Planning Scheme No. 6 review

At its meeting on 27 June 2017 the City of South Perth Council endorsed a report to review the City’s Town Planning Scheme No.6. A copy of the report is available below.

The report recommends the City prepare a Local Planning Strategy and review Town Planning Scheme No. 6 in order to prepare a new Local Planning Scheme.

On 29 November 2017, the Western Australian Planning Commission resolved to approve the City’s request to review Town Planning Scheme No. 6. Notice of this approval is available below. 

The City will now progress its scheme review. The most immediate task of this review is to carry out preliminary consultation to inform a new Local Planning Strategy.

Consultation will commence in early 2018.
