Free mulch available for residents

Spring is upon us, prepare your garden for summer and Christmas with a load of free mulch from the City's Recycling Centre.

To protect your plants and encourage healthy plant growth, spread a layer of mulch over your garden beds. The best mulches are organic and can be made from a variety of garden by-products.

The City will provide a free mulch loading service from 9.30am - 12.30pm on Saturday 18 and 25 November and Saturday 2 December 2017 at the Recycling Centre, cnr Hayman Rd and Thelma St, Como.
