As part of Evolve 2026, the City of South Perth has selected two artists to participate in a series of two Live Art Studios.
During each Artist's residency, the community will be provided with the opportunity to meet a working artist while they create an artwork.
About the artist
Tanya Cain is a West Australian artist and educator whose practice spans textiles, natural dyeing, and painting.
Tanya will be working on this artwork at the following times:
- Tuesday 28 July: 9:30am - 3pm
- Wednesday 29 July - 9:30am - 3pm
- Friday 31 July: 9:30am - 3pm
- Saturday 1 August: 10am - 2pm
This temporary live art studio will be on display from Tuesday 21 July until Saturday 1 August 2026, during Manning Library opening hours.
