Southside Summer returns in 2026! Come along to Mindeerup at South Perth Foreshore from Wednesday 28 January until Tuesday 3 February for free family fun activities, activations and live entertainment. 

Southside Summer is part of FRINGE WORLD 2026, Perth’s most popular annual festival.

Bring your family, a picnic and rug, and settle in for a beautiful sunset over the City. You'll be accompanied by roving entertainment, live music, awe-inspiring circus shows, hands-on circus workshops, plus a chance to meet the performers!

From 6pm you can take a seat, relax and enjoy live entertainment from roving entertainers, stilt walkers from Enchanted Stiltwalking & Perth Sax Rockers.

Roll up! Roll up! At 6.45pm our headline performance and FRINGE WORLD award winner, ZAP CIRCUS, will entertain you with a live circus performance and workshop (on select nights). Workshops will run for approximately 30-60 minutes and the performances will run between 35-50 minutes. 

Performances are suitable for all ages. The event is free and no bookings are required.

Mindeerup, South Perth Esplanade, South Perth (next to the giant numbat and frill neck lizard canopies).

Accessibility

Circus shows and workshops are inclusive and suitable for all ages and abilities.

We encourage you to use public transport, cycle or walk to this event.

Parking

Paid parking is available at South Shore Shopping Centre, Millstream Car Park and Wilson Parking Windsor Hotel.

Dining

Take a stroll up Mends Street and explore the restaurants and cafés available or pick up something to go and enjoy a picnic at Mindeerup.

Event schedule

From 6pm each evening, there will be roving entertainment and activities, circus workshops from 6.45pm on select days, and circus performances from 7pm daily.
