Have overdue fees on your library card? Bring a donation to Foodbank WA and we’ll waive your fees.

Everyone should have access to their local library and the services and resources they offer. To commemorate Library and Information Week, we invite you to bring a donation and any overdue items you have to our Manning and South Perth libraries from 28 July to 30 August 2025. We’ll waive your fees and restart your membership.

What to donate

We’ve partnered with Foodbank WA to collect non-perishable items for people who are going without. Items must not be past their expiry date and can include:

  • canned vegetables, fruit, soup or tuna
  • pasta and rice
  • oats, cereal and spreads
  • long life milk
  • tea and coffee
  • washing products
  • toilet paper and nappies
