The WA Tree Festival has provided a unique opportunity to be part of restoring the City’s urban canopy. The Parks and Environment teams are excited to make available 500 trees FREE for residents of the City of South Perth.
The first 500 people to register can pick up their tree between 9am and 2pm on Sunday 5 May 2024 at the City's nursery.
One tree per family and proof of residency is required (eg Driver’s License). Booking is essential.
Tree species available:
- Callistemon phoeniceus - ‘Scarlet Bottlebrush‘ (2-4m)
- Eucalyptus decipiens - ‘Redheart Moit‘ (6-9m)
- Eucalyptus erythrocorys - ‘Illyarie’ (4-8m)
- Eucalyptus lansdowneana - ‘Crimson Mallee’ (2-6m)
- Eucalyptus leucoxylon - ‘Yellow Gum’ (10-20m)
- Eucalyptus woodwardii - ‘Lemon-flowered Gum’ (6-12m)
- Eucalyptus torquata - ‘Coral Gum’ (4-10m)
- Melaleuca virdiflora - ‘Broad-leaved Paperbark’ (3-8m)
