A new exhibition by WA artist Ariel Katzir illustration is on display at Box Gallery, Manning. Titled ‘The Worry Doll’, the exhibition has been developed from the artist’s personal journey.

The worry doll symbolises a safe space for people to share and let go, acting as a sponge for all our worries. Worry dolls are used all over the world in different forms by many tribes and nationalities with their own rituals.

Follow the worry doll into Manning Library where you can take part in the exhibition by writing your worries on a piece of paper and placing it in the worry doll pocket.

Box Gallery, Manning, is the City's public exhibition located outside Manning Library. Ten permanent display boxes showcase the work of different WA artists and community groups throughout the year.

The Worry Doll will be on display until 31 March 2023.
