Live Art Studio - Sean Adamas | Evolve 2026

As part of Evolve 2026, the City of South Perth has selected two artists to participate in a series of two Live Art Studios.

During each Artist's residency, the community will be provided with the opportunity to meet a working artist while they create an artwork.

About the artist

Sean Adamas is a Perth-based artist who works predominantly with colourful sculptural artworks and community art projects. 

He uses vivid colours, patterns and textures and considers shadow and negative space as integral elements of his work. Inspired by nature as well as pop culture, Sean creates playful, relatable and uplifting artworks that also incorporate classical elements like florals and oriental patterns. 

This is the first time he will showcase his latest artistic approach to the public.

Sean will be working on this artwork at the following times:

• Tuesday 28 July: 10am - 3pm
• Wednesday 29 July: 10am - 3pm
• Thursday 30 July: 10am - 3pm
• Friday 31 July: 10am - 3pm
• Saturday 1 August: 10am - 2pm
• Monday 3 August: 10am - 3pm
• Tuesday 4 August: 10am - 3pm
• Wednesday 5 August: 10am - 3pm
• Thursday 6 August: 10am - 3pm
• Friday 7 August: 10am - 3pm
• Saturday 8 August: 10am - 2pm

This temporary live art studio will be on display from Tuesday 28 July until Saturday 8 August 2026, during South Perth Library opening hours.
