Enjoy a mix of creative workshops, engaging storytelling sessions, hands-on activities, and interactive events for all ages.
Whether you're into arts and crafts, music and movement, or STEM challenges, there's something for everyone. Plus, special guest workshops will inspire young minds with exciting stories and activities.
It's also Youth Week and you can enjoy a range of free activities from the 14-17 April to celebrate young people's positive contributions to our community.

Hop into Bunny Time
Join us for a special interactive session where you’ll meet some friendly, social bunny residents and learn what rabbits are all about.
Time for Songs and Stories
Come along for a morning of stories, songs, dancing and craft! These interactive drop-in sessions on Tuesday 7 and 14 January are perfect for children 5 years and younger.
Stop Motion Animation Workshop
Lights, camera, action: learn how to create your own short film using stop motion animation at the library! Great for kids aged 7-17.

Soccer Clinic for children in Year 3-6
The clinic is run to teach the basics of soccer, and putting it into gameplay. Perfect for beginners. Children will be taught dribbling, passing, goal kicking, game play and team skills.
Nature craft workshop
Nature Makers is a crafting session for little creatives to explore art using natural and recycled materials.
Author Workshop - Sally Murphy
Come and join our children’s literature champion Sally Murphy for an author’s workshop, recommended for ages 8 - 12.
Basketball Clinic for children in Year PP-2
The clinic is run to teach the basics of basketball, and putting it into gameplay. Perfect for beginners. Children will be taught dribbling, passing, shooting, game play and team skills.
LEGO Day
Join our Lego day at Manning Library and build your best creations.
Author Workshop - Kylie Howarth
Come and join our children’s literature champion Kylie Howarth for an author’s workshop, recommended for ages 8 - 12.
Craft Day
Drop-in for some crafting fun these school holidays. The only limit is your imagination! All ages are welcome and no bookings are required.

Quick Bites for Teens
Always hungry after school or don't like the food options at home? Come and learn simple recipes for tasty bites that'll keep you full and make you feel good. A free workshop for people aged 12 - 17.
Pokerama Workshop
Build your own Pokémon terrarium! Pick three Pokémon and create their tiny world inside a Poké Ball. A great activity for children aged 8 and over.
