Discuss the latest book in a relaxed setting with fellow club members. It is free to join for library members. Find out more about membership or join online.

Each club meets monthly, is self-run and members select their own titles. If you can't make it in-person, you could join the free Libby Book Club for WA online.

South Perth Library book club book sets (10 books) are free to hire. Search 'book club sets' to view our full range of book sets. Mill Point Cafe Bookshop offers 10% off books (for a set of 10) for book clubs.

Orange Book Club

The Orange Book Club read a variety of books, with a slight emphasis on literary fiction. Members are generally expected to have read the entire book before meeting early in the afternoon of the final Thursday of each month. You can bring notes or just participate in discussion of the book’s themes and style.

All members are encouraged to get involved in lively but polite and good-natured discussion, which cover various topics and reflects the members' decades of life experience.

Purple Book Club

The Purple Book Club read a variety of titles across all genres. Members choose the books to be read and discuss, and obtain books from the library, online or from shops.

The club meets at the Manning Library Meeting Room on the first Wednesday of each month from 5:45 pm until 6:45pm. After each meeting those that wish to do so go out for dinner at a local restaurant.

Green Book Club

The Green Book Club read a variety of books from all genres including fiction, biographies and crime novels.

Members usually read the same book together and share their thoughts and feelings on the book for friendly discussion. Meetings usually run for about 1 to 1.5 hours.

Blue Book Club

The Blue Book Club reads a variety of titles across all genres.

The club meets at Manning Library on the third Wednesday of the month from 4.15-5.15pm. Members can enjoy a friendly, engaging discussion on books being read.
