Free online author event, Tuesday 20 September

Public Libraries Western Australia is hosting an free online author event with award winning West Australian author Holden Sheppard in conversation with broadcaster, podcaster and author Chenée Marrapodi. 

Holden Sheppard will discuss his new release book, The Brink. 

The Brink is an explosive new young adult novel pitched at older teens and adults, about a group of Year 12 students whose leavers trip goes fatally wrong, leading them to life-changing tragedy and triumph. Holden will speak with Chenée about the deeply personal impetus for writing the book – including the themes of mental health, identity, masculinity and sex – as well as the rollercoaster journey to getting his second book into the world.

The event will be held on Tuesday 20 September, from 1-2.30pm.
