Footpath replacement works - McDonald Street between Preston and Eric Streets

Footpath replacement works will soon be carried out on McDonald Street, South Perth, as part of the City’s 2025/26 Slab Replacement Program. The works will be limited to the street verge and will involve replacing old concrete slabs and constructing a new 1.5-metre-wideconcrete footpath.

The City will carry out the works as follows:

Location: McDonald Street, between Preston and Eric Streets (see map below)

Date: Week starting Monday 13 April 2026

Duration: Approximately four weeks, weather permitting. Work will usually take place Monday to Friday, between 7am and 5pm. Please note, work may not occur every day during this period.

The City will aim to minimise disruption. Local residents will receive a letter, and updates will also be available on the City’s website.
