Roll up, roll up for our exciting Southside Summer 2026 program

News Update 14 January 2026
The full lineup for Southside Summer 2026 is now available, bringing a week of free circus fun to the South Perth foreshore as part of FRINGE WORLD 2026. 

Held at Mindeerup on the South Perth foreshore from 28 January to 3 February, Southside Summer will feature ZAP CIRCUS as well as an exciting mix of local and international performers, award-winning circus acts and hands-on workshops for all ages. 

Each evening from 6pm, the foreshore will come alive with roving entertainment and activities, followed by Circus Workshops on selected nights from 6.45pm and headline performances from 7.15pm.

Southside Summer 2026 program 

 

Wednesday 28 January 

The festival opens with a Circus Workshop at 6.45pm by ZAP CIRCUS, followed by an Open-Air Circus Variety Show at 7.15pm, featuring a lineup of Australian and international award-winning performers. 

Thursday 29 January 

Audiences can enjoy Hands Some Feet at 7.15pm, a critically acclaimed circus love story from Belgium, blending juggling, tightwire, live music and humour. 

Friday 30 January  

Get hands-on with a Circus Workshop at 6.45pm before the evening heats up with CIRCUS FIRE Spectacular! at 7.40pm, a high-energy, internationally awarded flame and special effects show by ZAP CIRCUS. 

Saturday 31 January 

Family favourite Trash Test Dummies hit the stage at 7.15pm, delivering award-winning slapstick circus comedy using everyday wheelie bins. 

Sunday 1 February 

After the ZAP CIRCUS Circus Workshop at 6.45pm, award-winning international street performer Herosan takes to the foreshore at 7.15pm, bringing his unique mix of strength, skill and quirky Japanese humour to the foreshore. 
 

Monday 2 February  

The excitement with the ZAP CIRCUS Circus Workshop at 6.45pm, followed by Up in the Air Aerial Show at 7.15pm, an award-winning spectacle featuring daring acrobatics and contemporary circus. 

Tuesday 3 February  

Southside Summer closes in spectacular fashion with Purple People Comedy & Circus at 7.15pm, a colourful, high-energy finale packed with acrobatics, fire and laughs.
