Footpath replacement works - 78-82 Gladstone Avenue

Footpath replacement works will soon commence on Gladstone Avenue, South Perth, as part of the City’s 2025/26 Slab Replacement Program. The works will be limited to the street verge and will include removing old concrete slabs and constructing a new 1.5-metre-wide in-situ concrete footpath.

This section of footpath was left incomplete during recent works due to renovation and construction activities at No. 78. The City will now return to complete the works.

The City will carry out the works as follows:

Location: Gladstone Avenue, South Perth, between house numbers 78 and 82 (see map below)

Date: Week commencing Monday 1 December 2025

Duration: Approximately four weeks, Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am to 5pm (weather permitting). Please note that the works will be carried out over a one-week period within this timeframe and may not be carried out every day during this period.

The City is committed to minimising any inconvenience caused by these works. Residents will receive notification by letter, and updates will be available on the City’s website.
