Calling for Change: City Supports 16 Days in WA with Mobile Collection
Round up your old phones. We’re supporting the State Government’s 16 Days in WA – Stop Violence Against Women campaign by collecting your old and unused mobile phones to donate to the DV Safe Phone project.
Running from 25 November to 10 December, 16 Days in WA aims to raise awareness, promote action and encourage change to stop violence against women. By donating to DV Safe Phone, you can help provide a vital communication lifeline to people experiencing domestic violence – helping them connect safely and rebuild their independence.
You can drop off working or damaged mobile phones at the South Perth Library during the campaign period. Donation boxes will be located near the existing battery recycling station.
All collected phones will be securely sent to DV Safe Phone project to be refurbished and distributed to those in need through partner agencies, including WA Police..
