Changes to Rates Instalment Notices and BPAY Payment References

If you’ve recently received your second Rates Instalment Notice, you might notice a few updates.

As part of a system upgrade, the Assessment Number (previously shown at the top right of the notice) has been replaced with a new Property ID Number. This change helps us efficiently manage property information across the City’s systems.

In addition, BPAY payment references have been updated on the latest notices. However, these new BPAY references will not be in effect until Tuesday 4 November 2025.

Until then, ratepayers should continue using their previous BPAY reference number (as shown on an earlier rates notice) to make payments without any interruption.
