Road Safety Improvement Works - Intersection of Canning Highway and Lansdowne Road
A road safety improvement project will soon be taken place at the intersection of Canning Highway and Lansdowne Road. The City will realign the existing intersection to prevent traffic from exiting onto Canning Highway from Lansdowne Road.
The City will be undertaking road works as follows:
Location: Intersection of Canning Highway and Lansdowne Road, Kensington (see map below)
Date: Week commencing Monday, 31 March 2025
Duration: Approximately two (2) weeks, weather permitting, Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:00am to 6:00pm. Please note the works may not be carried out every day during this period.
The road works will include:
- Minor civil infrastructure upgrades to the existing median island kerbing.
The City makes every effort to reduce the disruption caused by the road works. Local residents will be informed about the works via a letter.
