Road Rehabilitation Works - Ruth Street between Brittain Street and Eleanor Street
Road rehabilitation works will soon be happening on Ruth Street. Repairing the road surfaces and surrounding infrastructure will prevent further deterioration and ensure they remain in good condition for years to come.
The City will be undertaking road works as follows:
Location: Ruth Street between Brittain Street and Eleanor Street, Como (see map below)
Date: Week commencing Monday, 31 March 2025
Duration: Approximately four (4) weeks, weather permitting, Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:00am to 5:00pm. Please note the works may not be carried out every day during this period.
The road works will include:
- Laying asphalt on two occasions (road resurfacing) which will impact access to properties at certain times.
- Minor civil infrastructure upgrades to access ramps and kerbing which may impact reticulation systems
The City makes every effort to reduce the disruption caused by the road works. Local residents will be informed about the works via a letter.
