Road rehabilitation works - Mabel Street between David Street and Douglas Avenue
Road rehabilitation works will be happening on Mabel Street soon. Repairing road surfaces and surrounding infrastructure will prevent further deterioration and ensure they remain in good condition for years to come.
The City will be undertaking road works as follows:
Location: Mabel Street between David Street and Douglas Avenue, Kensington (see map below)
Date: Week commencing Monday, 17 February 2025
Duration: Approximately five (5) weeks, weather permitting, Monday to Saturday between the hours of 7:00am to 5:00pm. Please note the works may not be carried out every day during this
The road works will include:
- Laying asphalt on four (4) occasions (road resurfacing) which will impact access to properties at certain times.
- Minor civil infrastructure upgrades to access ramps, drainage and kerbing which may impact reticulation systems.
The City makes every effort to reduce the disruption caused by the road works. Local residents will be informed about the works via letter.
