Footpath replacement works to begin on Alston Avenue in Como
Footpath replacement works will be commencing on Alston Avenue as part of the City of South Perth’s 2024/25 Slab Replacement Program.
The works will be restricted to the street verge and will involve the replacement of the old concrete slabs and construction of a 1.5 metre wide in situ concrete footpath.
The City will be undertaking the works as follows:
Location: Alston Avenue between Melville Parade and Mary Street, Como (see map below)
Date: Week commencing Monday 18 November 2024
Duration: Approximately four (4) weeks, weather permitting, Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:00am to 5:00pm. Please note the works may not be carried out every day during this period.
The City makes every effort to reduce the disruption caused by the works. Local residents will be informed about the works via letter.
