Refurbishment works delayed at Heritage House
The refurbishment of Heritage House (‘the House’) has been delayed, with the iconic site now expected to re-open by the end of the year.
These works include fresh interior paint, refurbished floors, essential repairs and general maintenance to preserve Heritage House’s historical significance.
Built in 1904 and once known as the 'Old Council Offices', Heritage House has been a heritage-listed site since 1999, showcasing ‘Federation Free Classical’ civic architecture with its distinctive central pedimented bay and classical mouldings.
Heritage House is proudly managed by the South Perth Historical Society—find out more about their work on their website.
We will continue to provide updates as the refurbishment progresses and can’t wait to welcome you back to the beautifully refurbished Heritage House later this year.
