Road works to begin 12 August at Axford St and Eleanor St in Como

Low-Cost Urban Road Safety Road Works Safety

The City of South Perth will be installing a raised asphalt platform at the intersection of Axford Street and Eleanor Street in Como from Monday 12 August 2024. Works will take approximately one week, between the hours of 7am and 5pm, weather depending.

Access to your property and home reticulation may be impacted. The City makes every effort to reduce the impact road works can have on local residents. Those who are most likely to be impacted have also been informed by mail. 

What is the Low-Cost Urban Road Safety Program?

These works form part of the City's commitment to a safe, sustainable infrastructure. The Low-Cost Urban Road Safety Program applies low-cost road safety measures to local intersections and roads to reduce fatalities and serious injuries. Key projects: Raised Safety Platform installation at Mill Pt Road & Mill Pt Close; Axford St–Eleanor St; Tate St–Angelo St.
