Footpath installation - Amery Street
The City will be constructing a new concrete footpath along Amery Street to improve access to the Baldwin Street to Bus Stop No. 11934 on Talbot Avenue.
Works will commence 11 March 2024 and are expected to take two weeks to complete, weather permitting. Construction will take place on weekdays between 7am and 5pm.
Works will include:
- Installation of a 290m long concrete footpath, measuring 1.5 meters in width.
- A new pram ramp constructed near the bus stop, along with tactile indicators to assist visually impaired individuals.
Efforts are being made by the City to minimise disruptions caused by the construction.
