Help celebrate our local heritage

News Update 6 February 2024

The City of South Perth is reviewing its Local Heritage Survey (LHS) and is seeking new nominations and updates to existing place records in the LHS.

The LHS recognises and records places with cultural heritage significance and your nomination will help to better understand and celebrate the places which contribute to the history of our City.

Archaeological remains, buildings, structures, other built forms and their surrounds; and other objects with historical associations to the land such as gardens, man-made parks and even trees with cultural heritage significance can be nominated.

Anyone can nominate a place for possible inclusion in the LHS by completing a Place Nomination Form on the Your Say South Perth website.

Visit Your Say South Perth to have your say on the City’s Local Heritage Survey.  Printed copies of the place nomination form, update an existing record form and information sheet are available to collect from the City’s libraries.

Feedback opens Tuesday 6 February and closes 4pm, Tuesday 27 February 2024
