Sewer rehabilitation works to recommence in January 2024

After experiencing delays, the Water Corporation is resuming essential sewer rehabilitation works across Perth, including some suburbs in the City of South Perth.

This is an ongoing program to renew ageing wastewater pipes and extend the life of this important infrastructure by at least 50 years.

Works will generally be conducted around the access chambers on either side of wastewater pipes. 

The work is planned to recommence in January 2024 and be completed by July 2024.

During this period, the Water Corporation will generally work from Monday to Saturday, between 7am and 5pm. If night work is required, the Water Corporation will notify affected residents.

• Todd and Ryrie Avenue, Como
• Banksia Terrace, South Perth
• Labouchere Road, Como

Residents affected by these works will be contacted by the Water Corporation via mail between 11-15 January 2024.
