Lake Douglas footbridges closed

The Lake Douglas footbridges have been assessed as being structurally compromised and therefore will remain closed for the safety of the public until further notice.

The City is in the process of evaluating the future of the footbridges and options will be presented to Council through the 2024-2025 budget setting process. A final decision on the future of the structures is likely to coincide with the City's annual budget deliberation in June 2024.
