River Guardians deliver environmental education on the foreshore
The City has partnered with River Guardians to deliver important education on the foreshore about keeping our wildlife and wetlands safe. This partnership aims to help visitors understand the impact off-leash dogs have in the area and the importance of responsible dog walking.
The foreshore area and Djirda Miya are home to a network of diverse birdlife that depend on the wetlands for feeding, nesting, and raising their young.
River Guardians will be running an educational stall opposite Djirda Miya on Friday 6 October from 8am to 12pm. Discover more about the City’s Black Swan Habitat.
