Capacity limit at Ordinary Council Meeting, Tuesday 27 June 2023

Public Notice 26 June 2023
The City of South Perth is currently finalising its planning including seating arrangements for the Ordinary Council Meeting (OCM) that is scheduled tomorrow evening, Tuesday 27 June 2023.  The OCM will commence at 6pm, with the doors open to the public at 5.45pm.

Based on the public interest relating to Agenda Item 10.1.1 – ‘Collier Reserve Hockey Facilities Feasibility Study’ at the Council Agenda Briefing held last Tuesday evening, the City anticipates there may be a similar level of public interest in this OCM Agenda Item tomorrow evening.

There are two main options available for members of the public to follow the OCM discussion tomorrow:

Attending In Person

Attendance at the OCM will be limited to 100 members of the public.  This capacity is in line with the maximum accommodation permitted within the Council Chambers and the adjacent Civic Centre Reception Room. Once the 100 person capacity is reached, no more people will be permitted to enter the building to optimise safety for members of the public, Elected Members, and City employees attending the OCM.

Live Audio Streaming

Live audio streaming will be available for people to follow the OCM discussions online in the convenience of their own home and can be accessed on the Council Meetings page. Additionally, the audio recording of the meeting will be available on the City's YouTube channel following the meeting.

The City appreciates your understanding regarding capacity limits. For more information on this OCM Agenda Item, visit the City's Council Meetings page
