Isabella Craigie Reserve playground replacement

As part of the 2022/23 Capital Works Program, the City will be replacing the aging play equipment in Isabella Craigie Reserve. Works will commence on 24 April 2023. The works will include:

• Removal of the existing play equipment within the sand pit
• Expansion of the sandpit to include new and retained play equipment
• Installation of shade sails and new play equipment, including a new combined play structure and swing sets.

Works will be confined to the hours of 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday, although in order to complete the works it may be necessary to carry out some activities outside these hours, including Saturdays.

Works are scheduled to be completed by mid to late May 2023, weather permitting.

Playground access and traffic management

Construction activities will require the closure of the playground and at times it will impact the adjacent footpath. For your safety, please follow all signage and/or directions provided by worksite personnel. Please be aware that there will be occasional movement of construction vehicles throughout the reserve.
